[Ferro-alloys.com]According to the investigation of www.ferro-alloys.com, Chinese core wire market was still in downturn last week. In Henan province, ex-work price of Ca98%min∮9㎜Ca wire stayed around  RMB12300-12500/mt (USD1984-2016/mt). Ex-work price of Ca28Si55∮13㎜ CaSi wire was adjusted to RMB9400-9600/mt and Ca30 ∮13㎜ FeCa wire was adjusted to RMB9500-9700/mt . Other cored wires were also peaceful. In Henan province, mainstream ex-work price of C98%∮13㎜ carbon wire stayed at  RMB 4600-1800/mt. Operation of cored wire manufacturers was not good.

Calcium metal market was peaceful. In Shanxi and Henan Province, the major producing areas of calcium metal, ex-work price of Ca98%，0-2mm calcium granule stayed around RMB 18500/mt, and price of Ca98%min ∮7.5㎜calcium silk stayed around RMB 21300/mt. Calcium metal price seemed to have touched bottom.

Cold-rolled strip steel price was still low. In Hebei and Shandong province, the major production areas of cored wire strip steel, mainstream ex-work price of 0.35*55 strip steel stayed at RMB 4000-4200/mt (USD 645-USD677/mt).

In general, cored market would still be weak as steel market could not turn better in the short term.
