[Ferro-Alloys.com] Affected by new round purchase from steel mills, quotation of high carbon ferromanganese 65 was lowered to RMB5,300-5,400/mt from RMB5,400-5,500/mt. Despite declining operation rates for ferromanganese in south area, normal running for most suppliers in north brought about ample spot products temporarily. In fact, some participants believed that two large producers based in Shanxi and Ningxia respectively were seizing market share in fierce competition, given 20,000 tons and more or less 10,000 tons production capacity monthly for the two companies repectively, sufficient spot supply allowed mills to drag down sale further which in turn led producers in south suffer more.
