[Ferro-alloys.com] Spot supply of calcium metal was abundant and market price continued to drop in China. According to the investigation of www.ferro-alloys.com, in Shanxi and Henan Province, the major producing areas of calcium metal, mainstream ex-work price of of Ca98%min ∮7.5㎜calcium silk decreased from RMB 23,000/mt (USD 3710/mt) to RMB 21,500/mt(USD 3468/mt). Some new raw calcium capacity was put into production recently but downstream demand was still weak. Spot supply was abundant, so market price fell again.
