[Ferro-alloys.com] In September, 2014, Brazil exported 28849 tons of ferroalloy, up by 13.4% M-O-M and down by 23.3% Y-O-Y. In Jan-Sep, 2014, Brazil totally exported 286,635 tons of ferroalloys, up by 4.6% Y-O-Y. The materials including ferronickel, ferrosilicon and ferroniobium were mainly shipped to Japan, China, Holland and USA.

In September 2014, Brazil imported 9311.5 tons of ferroalloy, nearly the same with that in August and doubled compared with last September. In Jan-Sep 2014, Brazil totally imported 80,455 tons of ferroalloy, up by 24.1% Y-O-Y. The imported materials were mainly ferromanganese, ferrosilicon and silicon manganese from South Africa, Russia, and Norway.
