[Ferro-Alloys.com] In recent period, ongoing flat demand aggravated shutdown for non-standard silicon manganese factories in Guangxi and Hunan of China. It is said that non-standard 50% was quoted at RMB4,400/mt by cash without tax, some even as low as RMB4,250-4,300/mt. As for 55#, reducing supply allowed some producers in Hunan to edged up by RMB10-20/mt to RMB4,780-4,800/mt. While, in Guangxi, the price maintained at RMB4,700-4,750/mt by cash without tax. When it comes to non-standard 58, the price remained at RMB4,950-4,980/mt in Hunan and RMB4,900-4,950/mt in Guangxi.
