[Ferro-alloys.com] Spot supply of calcium metal was no longer in shortage and market price continued to drop in China. According to the investigation of www.ferro-alloys.com, in Shanxi and Henan Province, the major producing areas of calcium metal, mainstream ex-work price of Ca98%，0-2mm calcium granule decreased from RMB 21000/mt (USD3387/mt) to RMB 20,000/mt (USD3226/mt), and price of Ca98%min ∮7.5㎜calcium silk decreased from RMB 24,000/mt to RMB 22,000/mt. More calcium manufacturers resumed production and some new raw calcium capacity was put into production. Spot supply was abundant, so market price fell.
