[Ferro-Alloys.com]It is reported that HBIS settled November purchase on manganese alloy, silicon manganese 6517 was edged down to RMB6,370/mt and RMB5,380/mt for high carbon ferromanganese. As HBIS successfully further cut on manganese alloy November bidding, it seems that other steel mills would also tend to dip bidding price on alloy which would in turn lead alloy to touch the bottom line.

Silicon manganese 6517 is currently pricing at RMB6,000-6,200/mt and RMB5,300-5,400/mt for 6014. High carbon ferromanganese 65 is now concentrating on 5,400-5,500/mt. Medium carbon ferromanganese 75C2.0 with low p containing is focusing on RMB8,100-8,200/mt while RMB8,400-8,500/mt for 78C2.0 as well as RMB8,800-9,000/mt for 78C1.5. Low carbon ferromanganese 80C0.7 is traded at RMB9,600-9,700/mt.

As respect of manganese alloy production, the power price in south areas would face rise when entered the dry water season in winner, dual pressure would make alloy enterprises in local area continue to lower output. While in northern, APEC meeting in Beijing may bring about some impact on alloys in surrounding area like Inner Mongolia, but more 22500-33000KVA silico-manganese furnace constructions completed brings to comparatively ample spot supply.
