[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to the statistic, Chinese calcium carbide production was 2.129 million tons in August, up by 14.1% Y-O-Y. Meanwhile, it increased by 5.5% compared with that in July 2014. In Jan-August, 2014, total production was 16.30 million tons, up by 11.6% Y-O-Y.
