Print[Ferro-Alloys.com]In recent week both the Chinese producing FeCr and import FeCr stayed stable while it was expected that the price would further decline for the high production. In addition, the benchmark price of HC FeCr in Oct. released by Baosteel decreased by RMB50/mt once again, which had already settled the weak tone of FeCr market. Now China-made high carbon ferrochrome price maintained at RMB6200-6450/mt. South African FeCr was USD0.8-0.81/lb; Kazakhstan FeCr, USD0.88-0.89/lb Cr, and India FeCr was at USD0.82-0.83lb Cr.
In Europe, the FeCr price with ferrochrome (Cr 60-65% C6-8%) declined to USD1.04-1.1（-0.02）/lb Cr and the material with Cr60-70%, C 0.1% was USD2.08-2.15/lb Cr. In US, FeCr (Cr60-65% C6-8%), USD1.15-1.18/lb Cr; FeCr (Cr 65%min C0.05%max), USD2.25-2.28/lb Cr; FeCr (Cr62%min C0.1%max) , USD2.08-2.15/lb Cr. the FeCr market in Quarter 4 might not be optimistic for the high operating rate and dull demand.
Low carbon ferrochrome price stayed standard as LC FeCr(C25) was quoted at RMB11700-11900/60mt, C10 was RMB12000-12200/60mt and C6 was RMB12200-12400/60mt(ex-works price with tax).The chromium metal in both European and Chinese market also had no changes which was quoted at USD9300-9625/mt and RMB58000-61000/mt respectively.
