Nickel Ores Price Totally Declined for Weak Demand-China (Sept.22th-Sept.26th)

[Fellow]For the poor market situation of stainless steel and nickel, the FeNi capacity release would not recover then. The nickel ores price still suffered falling risk.

[Ferro-Alloys.com]Under the bad condition of LME Ni and ferronickel, the nickel ores price totally went down. It was acknowledged that the FeNi price sharply declined, which seriously hurt the FeNi manufactures. The nickel ores purchases were also affected much. 

 
In recent week, the low grade nickel ores futures price fell by USD2/wmt as FOB prices for nickel ore(Fe50%, water33%), nickel ore(Fe49%, water33%), nickel ore(Fe48%, water33%) were quoted at $22-24/wet mt, $21-23/wet mt, $20-21/wet mt respectively. Spot price for low-grade nickel ore dropped by about RMB20/wet mt. Spot prices for above materials was quoted at RMB290-300/wet mt, RMB280-290/wet mt and RMB270-280/wet mt respectively.
 
Medium and high-grade nickel ore price down by RMB30/wet mt. Currently, the nickel ore with Ni1.6%, Ni1.7%, Ni1.8% in Tianjin Port are quoted at  RMB560-590/wet mt,RMB610-630/wet mt, RMB710-720/wet mt respectively, and the transaction price for high-grade nickel ore with Ni1.9% and Ni2.0% were RMB760-770/wet mt, RMB810-820/wet mt. The futures price for medium grade nickel ore decreased by around $2/wet mt while the high grade Ni ores kept stable. Currently, the mainstream quotation prices for medium-grade nickel ore with Ni1.7% and Ni1.8% from Philippine are $85/wet mt FOB and $97/wet mt FOB. 
 
For the poor market situation of stainless steel and nickel, the FeNi capacity release would not recover then. The nickel ores price still suffered falling risk.
