[Ferro-alloys.com] Since the beginning of this year, Shenmu county had accelerated innovation and transformation, based on resource advantages. As statistics showed, output value of industrial enterprises above designated size reached RMB77.07 billion in the first eight months of 2014, up5.04%; sales value reached RMB74.12 billion, up 8.37%; sales-output ratio was 96.2%, up 0.31%.

There were sixteen magnesium projects whose total capacity was 505 thousand tons, nine ferroalloys projects whose total capacity was 295 thousand tons and seven magnesium alloy & diecasting projects whose total capacity was 69 thousand tons.

In the first eight months of 2014 in Shenmu county, outputs of run-of-mine coal were 0.15 billion tons, outputs of magnesium were 28 thousand tons and those of ferroalloys were 27 thousand tons.
