[Ferro-Alloys.com]In recent period, given continued worse situation for silicon manganese market, some producers began to swith to high silicon containing production. However, increasing spot supply but limited demand gave rise to poor transaction for low carbon silicon manganese. It is said that one of big producers in Yunnan area already temporarily stop low carbon silicon manganese producing and only maintained the biggest silicon manganes furnace 63000 KVA operation. It is believed that increasing spot supply would exert further adverse effect on low carbon silicon manganese as other manufacturers switched to the product operation.
