In quarter 2 of 2014,India's IMFA produced 51,700 t of chrome alloys, down 6,300 t month-on-month, mostly because of the negative market performance.
IMFA is the largest integrated ferrochrome producer in India. Its 2 plants in Therubali and Choudwar (0disha state) have a total installed capacity of about 275,000 tpy.
Chrome ore is supplied from the company's assets in 0disha - Nuasahi Mines,Bangur Mines (Keonjhar county), Sukinda Mines and Chingudipal Mines (Jajpur county).
