[Ferro-Alloys.com]In 2013, the nickel ores stock in Chinese market increased boarded a new level from 14-20million tons of 2012. In the first seven months of 2013, the nickel ores stock basically maintained at 21million tons. However, along with the Indonesian export ban expectation, the stock was pulled up by the continuously increasing imports. It could be seen that from Nov.2013 to Feb.2014, the nickel ores recorded the new high level of 25-26million tons. 

The following figure was the monthly average imports of Philippines and Indonesia(Jan.2013 -Jul.2014)

Because of the execution of the export ban and the rainy season of Philippines, during Apr.. and May,2014, the Ni ores stock level sharply decreased to 19million tons. Then it once again climbed to 23million tons in Jun. and Jul.2014 with the recovered imports of Philippines Ni ores and the weaker demand of China at end of Q2.
