[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to statistics, China’s iron ore imports totaled 74.57 million tons in June, increasing by 19.7% or 12.27 million tons year on year.
The import price was averaged at US$102.49/ton, dropping by 19.2% compared to the same month of last year.
During the first half, the country’s iron ore imports hit 457.16 million tons, up by 73.43 million tons or 19.1% compared from 383.73 million tons in the same period a year ago.
Currently, the country’s stocks of imported iron ore at major ports totaled around 114.8 million tons.
