[Ferro-Alloys.com] It is reported that India’s annual steel capacity in eastern region is expected to hit 160 million tons in the next 10~15 years.

Currently, the country has an annual output of total 100 million tons, compared from 75 million tons four years ago.

The country’s Steel Ministry estimates that there will be 16 new plants in eastern states, which will add an annual output of 42 million tons in coming five years. Moreover, it will increase by another 45 million tons in second five years and further 73 million tons will be added in the third five years.
