In India, the shutdown of manganese mines has still continued, and the price of No.3 grade silico manganese (Mn: 60%) meant for domestic consumption rose further. It also has continued that the price of export-oriented No.1 grade (Mn: 65%) rose at the same time, in addition to which, some of producers have been deprived of the export license, and accordingly the circumstances for export have become aggravated and it is unavoidable at the moment the price will go up continuously. Albeit the producers' offer price rose with their strong attitude, the price in Japan has continued to be unchanged from the end of May because the buyers showed reluctance to the contract at a high price and there was a sales of domestic inventories.
