[Ferro-alloys.com]The iron ore output of Russia’s Metalloinvest remained unchanged on the year at 9.538 million tonnes in January–March, the company said on Wednesday.

Pellets production increased by 1.9% to 5.753 million tonnes, while hot-briquetted iron and direct reduced iron (HBI/DRI) output rose 0.8% on year to 1.403 million tonnes.

Cast iron output increased by 1% on the year to 524,000 tonnes, and steel production decreased by 5.9% to 1.196 million tonnes. （Source: Metalloinvest website）
