In Japan, the contract price continues to go up with the background of the increased consumption of silicon metal due to the recovery in production of aluminium in the period from April to June. In-hand stocks of trading firms become slightly tight, and even if the contract is made, the delivery is said to be after the consecutive holidays in May.
