After only five months, Vietnamese steel exports to the EU have more than doubled compared to exports in the whole of last year.

Shipments year-to-date in 2021 are 37,938,360 net tons, a 7.8 percent increase vs. 2020 shipments of 35,194,683 for five months.

In June, Brazil exported 125400 tons of manganese ore to China, up 81.74% month on month.

South Africa's total export volume of high carbon ferrochrome was 294600 tons, a month on month decrease of 4.72% and a year-on-year increase of 4.47%.

Among them, 553000 tons were exported to China, with a month on month decrease of 32.51% and a year-on-year decrease of 0.17%.

World crude steel production for the 64 countries reporting to the World Steel Association (worldsteel) was 174.4 million tonnes (Mt) in May 2021, a 16.5% increase compared to May 2020.
