Exports of Norway FeSi Rose 31.4% in August 2014

In September, calcium silicon price in China kept steady. There were no stocks in most factories.

According to statistics of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, output of primary magnesium reached 489.5 thousand tons in the first seven months of 2014 in China, slight increase of 1.96%.

Si metal price increased in late August in India.

Metallurgical Si metal prices began to increase in the last week in August in China. And Chemical si metal prices remained firm. More orders made some factories turn prices up.

In late August, calcium silicon market in China was stable with inactive transactions. Now the prices were the lowest since 2009.
