JSE-listed Merafe Resources on Monday said it expected its headline earnings per share (HEPS) for the six months ended June 30 to be between 126% and 142% higher year-on-year.

According to data released by the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF), the global stainless steel output amounted to 10.2 million tons in January-March, rising by 6.1% quarter on quarter and increasing by 6.8% year on year.
